Apple Picking

Today my family and I went to a nearby apple orchard and had a blast. When we got there we realized that the corn maze and hayrides didn’t open until 2 but we still had a fun time! We looked at all of the pumpkins and gourds, slid down the massive side and enjoyed the great weather. But the best part was picking the apples; fiji, red delicious, jonathan, golden delicious, honey crisp, jonagolds and many more. It was very fun trying to find all of the good apples, although they are very high in the trees! When we were done we went to the country store and picked up some apple cider and apple donuts for the ride home! It was a good start to this week!

  1. Matthew 7:18-20…”A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”

Sometimes humankind has both bad and good apples on our trees. It’s too bad that at times we have to look hard for those good apples at the top of the tree.
