Denver’s Not so Hidden Treasure – the Botanical Gardens

After Arizona we flew into Denver (the mile high city) for our cousin’s wedding. I always like to see what the must-do things are when I visit someplace, and on Trip Advisor  found the world-famous, Denver Gardens.

TRAVEL TIP: Many museums have reciprocal agreements with museums in other states. By joining your favorite local museum, you can save big money when you travel by knowing where your museum has reciprocity!

We already had a membership through the Thomas Edison House that we visited in Florida, so we saved on our entrance fee. It was perfect! The Denver Botanic Gardens features indoor gardens, and different sections with plants all over the world. This place was filled with photographers capturing every little thing. We packed a picnic style lunch and found a bench by the water and enjoyed the gardens. It was so pretty and I wanted to share some of the beautiful pictures! IMG_0700IMG_0702Processed with VSCO with p5 presetIMG_0163

The gift shop had beautiful soaps that I had to get a picture of! It was so cute I put it on my VSCO.
