Girls Lunch Out!

For my birthday my mom surprised me with reservations to the Cake Bake Shop in Broadripple, Indiana with a couple of girl friends. The Cake Bake Shop is known for being very fancy and over the top. It is exclusive to Indiana but has won many awards and had many celebrities visit like Matt Damon, Paula Deen, Jim Carey, Elton John, Dick Van Dyke, Martha Stewart and so many more! We made an afternoon out of it and had a picnic in the park and even had our nails done before! My mom booked a table for us and we went out for dessert. The shop is a converted english cottage so it is automatically charming on the outside. Right outside is a sign that everybody takes pictures by so of course we had to get some! I was immediately amazed as soon as I walked in the doors of the shop! Every thing was over the top girlie and pink and sparkly. There were also so many pigs in tutus everywhere! The presentation of the whole store was so fancy all the way down to the bathroom!

I had never been there so I had no idea what to get! There was so many drinks to choose from and more than 15 different flavors of cake! I ended up getting an iced tea and we chose two cakes, a mint chocolate chip and a chocolate ganache one! They were so good and so rich! It was so rich that the three of us couldn’t finish it!
