Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Cape Cod

Cape Cod was an hour and a half away from our campsite. We had a chill day and got there around 12. It was fun relaxing at the beach. We took a walk and found 13 seals in the water swimming around!  We read, flew our kite, played handball and waded in the water. I would definitely recommend the Cape. The water is beautiful and the beaches are nice. The towns around the Cape are also cute.IMG_0989

covered in sand! look at my back!!

The beach that we were near had a light house across the road. We soon learned that this light house is on the Cape Cod chip bag! Look at the comparison! We even got to go to the top and look out the little windows

We ate a place for dinner called the Knack it was okay. They were really pricy for what you got, which was not a lot. I wouldn’t recommend going there. You can pay the same amount for a lot more food somewhere else.

Next we wanted to see a sunset. We found a nice beach that was facing the west and plopped our chairs down and waited. We soon realized that the tide was coming in so we had to move our chairs back. The water had come and filled up the area we were sitting in less that 5 minutes! The sunset was so beautiful!!! So much purple and some orange and pink. I don’t think I had ever seen a sunset more beautiful! Such a great close to a great day!
